ANTIQUE GRUNGE
I took a picture of the Targhee National Forest sign. I added a sepia filter to mute the colors on the original photo. Then I added three different textures. Bark, rock, and rust. I blended them all together.
TEXT
Taking this close up shot of a pine cone, I overlayed the bark texture and another photograph of the forest tree tops. For “pine cone” I used Arial Black and selected a deep brown, red color from the pine cone. Then using the eraser tool and changing the opacity I dimmed the text. Then I added in “Targhee National Forest” as a solid text. I really love how this turned out.

Awesome pine cone photo! That turned out really nice. I like both of your edits they’re really well done. I like the use of sepia on the first one.
That pine cone one is killer! Good work! I like the pine trees in the background especially as a reminder of where the cone comes from. It’s a beautiful montage and I like the font you choose as well.
The Targhee sign looks very retro and I really like your pinecone photo. The pinecone looks really funky, and I didn’t even notice the trees until I really looked…very nice!
